1961 GMC Model TDM-5301-011:  From Los Ang. Metro. Transit Auth., Los Angeles, CA. - 51 Suburban Seats forward facing on platforms, luggage rack on left side,  no stantions, manual trans, V71 Detroit Diesel

These were very unusual buses.  They were purchased to replace the Long Beach Red cars and the management insisted that all the seats be on the same plane and forward facing.  These buses were also equipped with treadle center doors as well as luggage racks on the left side of the bus.
